You"re never too young to indulge in a little retail therapy.
At least, that seems to be the mentality of Alex Curran, who introduced her daughter Lexie, three, to the wonders of shopping in Liverpool today.
In celebration of older sister Lilly-Ella"s sixth birthday, the pair picked out some treats at the shops.

And it"s not only her mother"s love of shopping that Lexie iscopying - she is also getting to grips with her sense of style.
In fact the three-year-old looked like Alex"s "Mini Me" as they enjoyed their shopping trip, with both ladies wearing grey and black ensembles to combat the cold.
While Alex was decked out in her favourite combination of black skinny jeans and her favourite Balmain black blazer with exaggerated shoulders, her daughter looked adorable in a grey T-shirt and skirt suit, complete with grey tights and black boots.

But despite her love of designer fashion, Alex, wife of Liverpoolfootballer Steven Gerrard, has clearly been feeling the effects of therecession, and was spotted loaded with bags from High Street storesincluding Topshop and River Island.

However, Alex struggled toget the bags into the boot of her sports car as she battled against theextreme weather conditions, including violent gusts of wind, inLiverpool.
As well as her shopping treats, Lexie and her schoolgirl big sister were looking forward to the evening"s entertainment - an Alice In Wonderland themed party to mark Lilly-Ella"s birthday.

Writing in her Ok! magazine column, Alex said: "We"re inviting allher school friends and they"re dressing up aas the characters, whichshould be fun.
"We have entertainment and pick "n mix and candy floss.
"It"ll be great, but I won"t be dressing up myself - I"ll levae that to the kids."
Alex and her daughters have just returned from a half-term holiday in Tenerife, where they were joined by their grandparents.
